GO challenge yourself with an exhilarating hike across Switzerland

GO experience the Alps · GO live your bucket list · GO where your colleagues can't find you

Highlights

  • GO hike from Chamonix, France to Zermatt, Switzerland stunning trails over 11 of Switzerland's most famous mountain passes

  • GO enjoy hut to hut hiking in Switzerland at its finest, including charming mountain huts, quaint villages and delicious food

  • GO tackle excessive elevation gain paired with challenging and exposed trails, making the Walker's Haute Route the perfect challenge for fit, brave and experienced hikers

Beginning among the shadows of the Mont Blanc Massif, and ending in the presence of The Matterhorn, the Haute Route Hike impresses throughout each stage of the tour. Likely the most dramatic and scenic trek of the Alps, the challenging terrain and relentless ascents reserve this trail for fit and experienced hikers with plenty of grit. Completing the Walker's Haute Route is a major accomplishment and is an experience that will not be forgotten.

The Walker's Haute Route is significantly more challenging than the Tour du Mont Blanc. We recommend this tour only for hikers with experience hiking hut to hut in the Alps, and comfort in exposed and challenging alpine terrain.
