The Brenta Dolomites Via Ferratas: The Bocchette Traverse is one of the most iconic self-guided via ferrata hut-to-hut adventures in the Alps. This Brenta Dolomites self-guided tour links a network of historic via ferratas, including the famous Via delle Bocchette, through the remote and incredibly rugged Brenta Group of the Dolomites. While the via ferratas themselves are not highly technical on this route, the extreme alpine terrain and glacier crossings (no rope required) make this tour a true gem for experienced alpinists

Circumnavigate the Alps’ highest peak on good trails through France, Italy and Switzerland. The Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) is the Alps’ most famous hut-to-hut hike, blending wild mountain terrain with charming alpine villages. Though it involves steep ascents and descents, it remains an excellent introduction to hut-to-hut hiking and offers many comforts that are rare or absent on other routes. Among the favorite TMB comforts are hotel-oriented itineraries that offer private rooms and organized luggage transfer. We offer itinerary options for varying fitness levels, including shorter versions for those seeking a condensed TMB experience

The Italian Dolomites’ most famous long-distance trek leads awe-struck hikers from north to south, offering the classic Dolomites experience. The route alternates between mountain meadows and rugged alpine terrain, revealing unforgettable views at every turn. Along this trail, many hikers fall in love with the Dolomites. The Alta Via 1 remains remote, bypassing villages and overnighting in traditional mountain huts known as rifugios. We offer multiple itineraries for various fitness levels, as well as shorter snippets of the trail for those looking for a smaller sample of hut-to-hut hiking in the Dolomites

The Alta Via 2 Hiker’s Route leads hikers through remote and wild corners of the Italian Dolomites. This route, despite its challenging terrain, is cherished by locals and foreigners alike and offers an intense immersion into classic Dolomites terrain. Our twist on the classic Alta Via 2 itinerary avoids some of the most technical terrain of the standard Alta Via 2 route, making it accessible, although still challenging, for experienced and sure-footed hikers who are free from vertigo and who do not have a fear of heights

The Tour des Combins was one of the Alps’ best-kept secrets, but it is slowly gaining recognition and notoriety as one the Alps’ top hut-to-hut hikes. Despite recent attention, including an article in National Geographic magazine, this wild and remote loop around the sparkling glaciers of the Grand Combins massif, remains authentic and untouched by masses of tourists. Well-built trails with very little exposure let hikers focus on the magnificent scenery as they hike through Switzerland and Italy. We consider this a favorite for experienced hikers who love backcountry and solitude on the trail

The Via Claudia Augusta is the most established bike route that crosses the Alps, making it an ideal tour for beginners or anyone looking to take advantage of excellent cycling infrastructure along the way. Our tour covers the Alps crossing, beginning in Germany’s mountain town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and ending at Italy’s Lake Garda. You’ll move through Bavarian hills, mountain landscapes, and beautiful valleys leading to Mediterranean vineyards and orchards. The route is clearly signed and stays almost entirely away from vehicle traffic, with some small exceptions in the heart of small villages or short stretches of bicycle lane on roads

Castles, mountains, food, culture, and history—this Munich to Venice bike tour spans three countries and offers the experience of a lifetime. Along the way, you’ll pass through the Bavarian Alps, Austria’s spectacular Tyrolean mountains, and the city of Innsbruck, nestled deep in the Inn Valley. From there, the journey continues across the Italian Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and into wine country and rural farmland before reaching Venice. We recommend allowing time to explore Munich and Venice before and after your tour. The route is well signed, with most of the journey following dedicated bike paths and small rural roads
