Castles, mountains, food, culture, and history – this bike tour between Munich, Germany and Venice, Italy travels through three countries, and is an experience of a lifetime! This 600 kilometer designated bicycle route with 3,500 meters of elevation gain leads you through the Dolomites and past the highlights in the region, ending at the Adriatic Sea. Bicycle touring in Europe is an incredible way to combine nature, culture, and physical activity. We recommend this tour even for those who are not active cyclists. Thanks to the incredible scenery and fantastic routing, this tour is the favorite bike tour we have on offer. Every day along this tour is an experience in and of itself. The route is well signed out, and most of the tour is spent on bike trails and small farm roads. There is some time spent with motor vehicle traffic during the last days of the tour, which is why we don't recommend it for families. Along the tour, most of the grades are very manageable. Day 3 has some steep sections, which can be walked if necessary. If you don't have enough time for this relaxed version of the tour, we do have an Active version, BT2A, that is a shorter duration. BT2A covers the same route, but with more distance per day and eliminates rest days, allowing the entire tour to be completed in 10 days.
