Tour du Mont Blanc 11-day Pre-booked, Private Room Itineraries TMB-11g
The Tour du Mont Blanc, or TMB Trek as it is
also called, is the most famous hut-to-hut hiking tour in the Alps, and for
good reason. This 11-day self guided Tour du Mont Blanc hike loops around the
highest mountain in the Alps, Mont Blanc, which towers over the surrounding
landscape at 4,808 meters above sea level. In addition to traveling through
some of the most spectacular terrain in the Alps, a full rotation on the Tour
du Mont Blanc brings you through France, Switzerland, and Italy. Planning the Tour du Mont Blanc with private rooms is
notoriously difficult—but we’ve already done it for you. These 11-day
itineraries are carefully pre-booked early in the season by our expert team,
securing accommodation that is no longer available to book. We only book 10 of
these each year. All of our
prebooked Tour du Mont Blanc itineraries for 2026 are sold out. You can still
book any of the other Tour du Mont Blanc itineraries as usual, and we will work
on finding availability for you based on the criteria you provide to us. The
prebooked itineraries for 2027 will be released late autumn, and are booked on
a first-come first-served basis. The pre-booked accommodations are a mix of 2 and
3-star hotels and simple mountain hotels, including: Day 1: Hotel Le Saint Antoine in
Les Houches Day 3: Auberge de la Nova This 11-day itinerary is ideal for hikers who value
the comfort of private accommodation, with the option to add luggage transfer
during the booking process. As all accommodation is pre-booked, the dates are
fixed and we’re unable to make changes to the reservations. If these dates
don’t suit you, you can still book this tour on alternative dates — just take a
look at our TMB 11-Stretched itinerary page for
pricing and availability updates. We love the Tour du Mont Blanc, but it is not for
everybody. This is a very demanding hike with a lot of elevation gain over high
passes. There is also an exposed section of ladders that is not everybody’s cup
of tea. Thanks to its popularity, the Tour du Mont Blanc is becoming
increasingly crowded and expensive. We do encourage you to take a look at our
other Trekking Tours
before deciding for the TMB.
