Tour des Combins HHT3
Highlights
- GO take in the food and culture in both Italy and Switzerland
- GO get closer to nature. This tour stays mostly out of civilization, unlike the Tour du Mont Blanc
- GO to our very favorite hut in the Alps
The Tour du Combins is an unforgettable trek that
sweeps you through the Swiss and Italian Alps, circling the dramatic Grand
Combin massif. With each twist and turn, you’ll uncover new views of
snow-capped 4,000-meter peaks, glaciers that gleam against rugged cliffs, and
valleys blanketed in lush greenery. As you trace historic routes, you’ll cross
St. Bernard’s Pass, one of the most ancient and storied paths through the Alps.
Along the way, you might spot playful marmots or the elusive ibex before bedding
down in quiet mountain huts that blend traditional and modern architecture
nestled amongst breathtaking scenery.
