Self-guided Adventures in Germany

This is the perfect combination of exploring on your own, yet having someone help you plan a trip which is otherwise quite complex to put together.

Hikes in the German Alps and pre-Alps are full of beauty and have a longer season than many other areas in the Alps. While still stunning and awe-inspiring, much of the mountainous terrain in Germany is more forgiving than the terrain in neighboring Austria and Switzerland. The lower elevation also allows for a longer season. We find Germany especially wonderful for off-season tours, bicycle touring and kid-friendly outdoor adventures.
We offer several trans-alp bicycle tours that originate in Germany, as well as our fantastic Breweries of Bavaria Bicycle Tour. Our Hut to Hut with the Little Ones is also located in the gentle German pre-Alps, not far south of Munich.

Bavaria is famous for beer, but we think Bavaria should be famous for bike touring as well. We combine the best of both worlds by taking advantage of the great bicycle route infrastructure to get our customers to the best brews. In addition to making a visit to Augustiner and Paulaner in Munich, this route leads to breweries in monasteries, and in a convent located on an island in what the locals call, the Bavarian Sea.
