The Bernese Oberland Traverse is the classic Swiss experience. Traverse some of the most majestic terrain the Alps have to offer, enjoying the famous villages of Grindelwald, Wengen, Lauterbrunnen and Murren along the way. The availability of supplemental transportation options, such as lifts and trains, on the first 4 days of the tour, allows adventurers the flexibility to spend time in the villages, at main attractions, and on the trail as they like (not included). This tour is ideal for those who want to take in some culture and visit some main attractions. While the Bernese Oberland Experience is loaded with natural beauty, the first part of the tour is also loaded with tourists. Adventurers who look forward to solitude on the trail, should consider our Tour du Mont Blanc Alternative.

Current Availability
Updated: January 5th, 2024
We have not yet experienced any restrictions for availability on this itinerary in this coming season. Of course, it is always possible that a hut is entirely booked out on a specific day due to a large class or alpine club event happening there that day. For this reason, we always recommend providing us with a few days of flexibility for your tour.
